Wings 0.98.17f is out here (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wings/wings-0.98.17f.exe?use_mirror=flow)
notes
- Windows: Fixed problem with hotkeys (on some computers) and
slow rendering by reverting the version of SDL 1.2.5.
(Thanks to Anthony D'Agostino.)
- Corrected a bug in the error handling that made Wings terminate
rather than using writing a crash dump and allowing the user to
continue.
- Secondary selection in objects having a virtual mirror: The magnet
limit point will be the midpoint of the selection of the real part
of the object only. For rotate and scale origins, you'll get a choice
of calculation method (see the line at the top of the geometry window
for instructions).
- Dan made the import routines cope better with bad
geometry; for instance, a hole in the shape of an "8" will
now be handled properly. (If you have models that still don't
import properly, send them to dgud@users.sf.net.)
- Magnetic Tighten was broken.
- The title bar of the AutoUV window would be hidden if the Geometry
window's toolbar was hidden. (Problem reported by wasamonkey.)
- Linux: Dan corrected the default font path for the Text
command (only tested on Redhat 8 and 9).
- Beveling a vertex with vertex colors could sometimes cause a crash.
(Problem reported by SuperDisk.)
