View Full Version : ZBrush 2 Performance Tips -- Getting the Most from Your System
aurick 09-09-2004, 09:13 PM Hello, CGTalk!
As my first post here, I'm happy to be able to share with you a detailed discussion of how to maximize ZBrush 2's performance. It gives guidance for finding the best settings in your Preferences, as well as workflow recommendations that will help make life even easier.
I really recommend this thread for all ZBrush 2 users, but especially for those who intend to do high resolution mesh editing in the million-plus polygon range.

Yeah! Very informative aurick. Thanks a lot and welcome aboard :)
Meats,
man, I surely saw you in the last day of SIGGRAPH. Was just a shame that I just know that was you and Linda after to see some photos in CGNetworks. We are always just "virtual people" and SIGGRAPH is a great opportunity to know the faces behind the works :)
Now I know your face and in the next time I will thank you in person for all the inspiration :)
Bye,
Kris

Antropus -
Thanks a lot, and of course, back at you! I've always loved your work. It is too bad I couldn't have met you in person when we had the chance.
Maybe you could come to the Zbrush user group meeting this month at Gnomon....
best
