is there a converter out there so I can use 3ds models on wings

Not that I know of (not that I know much about that anyway), BUT, Wings will import .3ds files. I have a friend at DigiPen who made some models he wanted to show me, so he sent me the .3ds files and I importend them in Wings with no problem.
