Yes. not like the smooth grouping of 3dMax but it do the job, what you need to do is to use soft and hard edges, in edges -> hardness -> soft or hard and it is also usefull for UVmaping.

The default "crease" angle is 60°, which often yields pretty ok-ish results (for low poly tech things its imo perfect). You can try that for starters and if you aren't satisfied you can still change things manually (as Argoon outlined).
