Does functionality like Max's smoothing groups exist in Wings?

I've only been using it for a few days, but I am most impressed... wish their was more documentation, but I swear I am not complaining... best damn modeler I've used and its FREE!!!

There is a smooth/hard edge feature, but the handling of these are not max-like. In max you define smoothed groups, in wings3d you define hard or soft edges. You have 2 ways to doing so: first, in edge selection mode you can make an edge hard or soft by selecting .Hardness. and soft/hard, second, you can do an automatic smoothing in object selection mode (.Auto Smooth.), where you define the angle, and wings smooths edges between polygons below that given angle.

Hope this helps.

Yeah I had figured that part out... was just hoping that I had missed something great... the smoothing groups in max are about the only thing I really liked in max...

Anyway, oh well...
