Yep, that's right.

I'm flying back to the States for about 2 weeks, and I've installed Wings3D on my ancient Pentium 200mhz, 128mb RAM Dell Latitude CPi laptop.

And guess what? It runs. The framerate chugs, but is good enough that I can actually do some modelling on the airplane, while waiting at the terminal, during freetime...etc. I'll be packing my trusty Logitech MouseMan Wheel(optical), so I can even use it on my lap!

So, cheap laptop + Optical Mouse + Wings3D = CG workaholic's traveling kit. :D:D:D

Hmmm....could this be the first reported case of Wings actually flying?

As much as the situtation seems ripe for a good corny joke, I can't really come up with one. :)

well thats a first. I don't think anyone has actually used wings in an airplane. Good luck on your vacation. And if you go anywhere neat take pictures.

Good work

Heh I wonder if it would be possible to get wings/esdl/erlang to run off a cd the way I used to do with Blender. That way you don't actually have to install it. Brilliant if you are using somebody elses computer...
