I came across a screen shot of Mirai the other day (can't remeber where now) and noticed it has more "modes" than Wings Body, Face, Edge and Vertex. The one that intrigued me was Object, it has a body mode too, so what's the difference? Anyone know?
I must see if I can find it again, cos there was at least one other mode that wings doesn't have, I wonder if Bjorns considering adding these as he seems to be developing in the direction of Mirai?

Ah! found it again, it's on Ambient whisper's site in a tutorial on face sculpting, the other mode is collection, presumably for multiple objects.

bazc hehe im not even really sure what the difference is
didnt bother looking at the context menu which might be where the difference lays
the visuall difference i body is like in wings
and object selects the bounding box and axis but the object moves with it

the last button the one furthest right is collection mode
if you are not in collection mode then you can only select one element at a time
and it asks you if you want to continue
which is gay

Thanks for satisfying my curiosity Wasamonkey, they don't sound very necessary do they? LOL

well object mode might be for modifying the object on its own axis or something
I might play with the menus in both modes tonight and post the results
but dont hold your breath I often forget things
like paying bills even :)
