I didn't want Dann-O to have all the fun of being the only entry for November. :)

I wanted to do more in posing this guy, but learning how to rig (well) is taking more time than I have, so I only did a simple pose.

My entry: cartoon farmer duck

Modelled in Wings3D. Posing and rendering done in other apps.

Any C&C welcome and appreciated.

Well cool I kind of wish I had not gotten the message to make a decision on the next challenge. Good duck I made a few cartoon ducks and woddy woodpecker too. What are you using to rig and render. I am going to be picking up Messiah in the next month or so so I wll be starting some rigging myself.

I'm going through the BSoD (Blender Summer of Documentation) docs for character rigging in Blender. I really had to rush it, though, as I didn't realize how much November had been slipping away and was already at the end of the month. So I got some basic rigging done, but didn't get to work out the bugs in my rigs as I got some distortion with more extreme movements.

Been wanting to pick up blender but I just have it and no documentation. So right now it is a mysterious but powerful app. I will get messiah in the upcomming month or so and that will give me a lot of stuff I could not do before. (can't wait.....displacment mapping, GI, rigging, particles, SSS shaders)
