ok im modelling a gun skin for the ts mod and here is my wip so far http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/7876/lawgiverzo3.jpg

i was wondering how i could get the holes on the from part of the gun on it, i dont know how to make vertices in teh middle of the object to do this so please help, if tyou know any otehr way to make it or whatever xD thankyou

The easiest way and low poly way woudl be to make a cut along the leangth and slide it to where you want the hole and then bevel it and apply hole material. That is wha tI woudl do for a game for high poly stuffI woudl bridge opposing faces to get the hole.

Thsi is a fast low poly way to do it ther eare many other thigns that can be done. Here we slect all the edges leanthwise. Then we hit the c key to connect them. Then se slide it to where it is wanted then bevel it to get the right width and then apply hole material to make the hole. Later rinse repeat.

About the gun I don't have time to tell you how to clean up the mesh her ethere are soem Ngons that might nto work at all in a game engine. You will have to go through and connect verticies till you have all quads or triangles.

thanks for that, but it was on the wrong bit xD i want the depessions the bit in front of the trigger xD but dont worry now i made to many errors whilemaking it so i will eitehr start from scratch or stop on it lol
