Well something new for me. I wanted to do this one for a while. A break from Traveller aliens and on to Venus on the Halfshell by Kilgore Trout. That is probably one of the funniest books ever written such a trashy book but a great read. So on the planet Shaltoon there is a race of Cat peopel who have near immortality. In one scene the cat quessn of shaltoon seduces Simon Wagstaff the spacewanderer. Anyways I am making a Catwoman from Shaltoon now so I am blocking out the basic shape.

Kilgore Trout is a ficticious author made up by Kurt Vonnegut. Thsi book was actually written by Phillip Jose Farmer.

OK a bit of a streach I was tapped at finding something I wanted to make for LOTR so this is a streach. This is the trashy B-Movie version of LOTR with cat women and the like. My version of LOTR terrible but a great deal of fun. :twisted:

OK the top was just the beginning a humble on e at that. Ther eis mroe to come. Fun fun fun. So a quick render of the mesh in its current state. and a wire of it before I did soem of the tweakign I needed to do.

Onword outward and upward texturign has started in earnest and I plan on two versions one with one without clothes both rigged and ready for animation.

Still working on her gave her an outfit and tweaked a few thigns from the mesh aroudn teh nose eyes mouth arms and some subtle texture tweaks.

Did you texture in Wings?

No not textured in wings in PMG messiah. But I did do all the UV layout in wings for the textures. Wings does have an excellent UV mapper.
You can do renders from wings using Yafray (it does have soem limitations though) I have messiah wich is relativly inexpensive runs 300 US and can do a lot of the tricks you only find in top end renderers and it is one of the best programs for rigging and animation.
