CGTalk - undo subdivide

hey everyone,
probably a very easy answer 2 this, but if i subdivide a mesh, how do i undo it? ctrl-z doesnt work and i cant find a 'delete level' button like in zbrush. Some 'delete lower and higher' buttons would be so useful.

Uh, there IS a delete highest level function "hidden" under the Mesh-menu. You'll have to step down a level to delete it though.
