Hello, how do you guys keep the opacity (see through mode) while modeling sliding edges, i assigned a material with different opacity and it keeps switching in opaque mode as soon as i perform command on the object, is there a way around that

THX a lot

did you mean "Wire" mode? just press the "W" key on the keyboard. I dont think it has that "MODO" see through feature. if it does, By golly and giminny crickets, I stand corrected.

There's a toggle in the upper left grouping of the toolbar that controls shaded view mode. In the standard mode, opacity isn't rendered. But if you toggle smooth OpenGL shading, then you should be able to see tranparancy/opacity. You probably wont see the edges rendered in this mode, but may still see the selection. When doing smoothed preview, Wings also automagically goes to the smooth shaded view mode.

Other than that, you could toggle wireframes with "w" key or by clicking the wire icon by the object in the geometry graph. Whether or not backfaces of wires are rendered will be something that's toggled in prefs.

That's my 2¢.
